Our search team partners with applicants seeking a permanent position and is committed to providing a high level of customer service. Applicants are provided with pertinent information about current positions in their field and about the search process. If an applicant’s qualifications do not fit the available position, we retain the information in our confidential, proprietary database for immediate access when a position arises.

Vetting Process

  • Each applicant is reviewed and communicated with once the application is received.
  • A B. E. Smith search partner will schedule a telephone interview with applicants who closely match the client’s expectations.
  • After a great interview, applicants are sent an in-depth, job-specific assessment to complete by e-mail and B. E. Smith will complete our due diligence through references and background checks.
  • Based on information collected in the vetting process, a panel of candidates is selected to introduce to the client.
  • Each client handles the interview process and could request a telephone interview and one or more on-site visits.
  • B. E. Smith supports the successful candidate through the salary and relocation discussion with the client in the final phase of the process.
