B. E. Smith utilizes an Employment Model to attract and retain the best healthcare leaders in Interim Leadership Services. The employment relationship is structured to provide you all the benefits of employment, while maintaining the flexibility you enjoy as an independent contractor.
- Upon accepting engagements, remote employees may become eligible for benefits including accrual of paid time off (PTO), access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, AD&D, 401(k) retirement plan, a flexible spending account, and a variety of other voluntary benefits. The availability of some benefits depends on the type and duration of the engagement.
- We’ve established a solid baseline of compensation with our remote employees based on their experience.
- All of our remote workers are employees of B. E. Smith. Taxes are withheld and B. E. Smith covers the employer portion of your FICA.
- Our clients provide lodging that is clean, safe, and in close proximity to the organization. Each is furnished and has a kitchen.
- In our standard Interim arrangement, the client pays for travel home two times per month. Interims leave midday Friday and return midday Monday.
- A rental car is made available to anyone working at the client site, for the duration of the engagement.
